Vinyl Windows and Patio Doors
TINTED AND TEXTURED GLASS OFFERING CHANGES
• We have discontinued Glue Chip and Narrow Reed textured glasses and Solar Cool Bronze, Solar Cool Gray, Azurlite, Graylite II, Evergreen, 42 Clear, and Delta Frost tinted glasses for all Vinyl product lines.
• Going forward, we will offer three textures (Obscure, Rain, Matte Frost) and four tints (Gray, Bronze, Spandrel Black, Spandrel Gray).
SIMPLIFYING GLASS THICKNESS OFFERING
• We have limited glass thickness options for all Vinyl product lines when no STC/OITC rating or impact performance rating (DP/PG) is selected.
• Going forward, we will offer the standard default thickness for the configuration and only upgrade with matching external and internal glass. STC/OITC glass thicknesses, including dissimilar inner and outer glass, are still available when an STC/OITC rating is selected.
HARDWARE OFFERING CHANGES
• We have discontinued our Antique Brass and Polished Brass hardware options on all Vinyl product lines.
• The Averdene handle in Almond has been discontinued as an option on Premium™ Vinyl Multi-Slide patio doors made at our Venice plant.
• We are adding standard and ADA AL-Lock options on our Premium™ Vinyl Impact-Rated Sliding Windows. These will be available in all hardware finishes.
RADIUS SDL DISCONTINUED
• Curved grid patterns have been discontinued for all SDL on all Vinyl product lines.
• Going forward, SDL are only available in straight-line patterns. If you want curved radius grid patterns, that option continues to be available for all GBG.
Wood Windows and Patio Doors
CUSTOM™ WOOD 3-1/2″ FLAT CLAD CASING CHANGED TO MITERED JOINTS
• We have changed the exterior clad casing on Custom™ Wood Windows out of our Bend plant to have mitered corners, cutting the trim at 45 degrees, moving away from squared corners.
Fiberglass Patio Doors
NEW F-4500™ 5’0″ WIDTH OPTION
• The 5’0″ width option has been added for F-4500™ swinging and folding doors in QQL.
