Milgard in Temecula is excited to announce that we are moving to ALL BLACK glass spacers in our windows and doors.
(All Vinyl and Thermal Break Aluminum windows and doors)
We will have three types of spacers – the spacer used will depend upon the product series and configuration.
- A new 4SG / TPS (thermoplastic) spacer will be used on all Trinsic main-line windows (single hungs, horizontal sliders, double vents and fixed windows), information on 4SG/TPS spacer is attached
- Windows that have glass smaller than 8” x 14” will default to the EdgegardMAX spacer
- Casements, Awnings, Radius and Multi-Config windows will have an option of a Black EdgegardMAX or Foam spacer
- Picture windows larger than 32 sq ft will default to Black EdgegardMAX
- All orders with breather tubes will default to Black EdgegardMAX spacer
- The EdgegardMAX spacer (same spacer we use today, but black)
- The Foam spacer (same spacer we use today, but black)
- The 4SG / TPS spacer will appear in CTB+ as a TPS Spacer
Note:
- We will no longer carry the silver colored EdgegardMAX spacer
- For service purposes, we will still have a gray foam spacer option
- All Multi-slide stacking doors, Pocket doors and Bi-fold doors will still have the silver spacer
